To be quite honest I only started eating broccoli (voluntarily) when I found out just how PHENOMENAL the benefits were! After that day, eating broccoli became a case of eating it because of the increase in energy, faster recovery etc etc.

It also is a very good source of vitamins B6 and B2, phosphorus, magnesium, protein and omega-3 fatty acids.
#3 - The versatile tree - When it comes to preparing this mini-tree, experiment! Steaming it does help retain the majority of the vitamins and minerals within it however that is not to say you can't cook and prepare it anyway you see fit so don't be put off by that little fact.
