It's definitely no secret that everybody, even myself struggle with cravings sometimes and I'm certain that it has derailed your motivation to train or eat healthy at some stage in the past. I very deeply believe that it only takes a few simple tweaks to get your mind on board with what you want to achieve. 1. Identify Your Craving and Eliminate It This one is pretty damn simple really. For me, donuts are a complete no go zone when I'm at the supermarket (hence why they are pictured above lol). Basically, if you don't buy them you won't have the opportunity to eat them at home right? 2. Never Shop Hungry This is something that is overlooked I believe because if you're shopping hungry you are ten times more likely to pick up food items that aren't on the healthy items list. While doing your groceries on a satisfied stomach I believe you think more clearly and make smarter choices - ACTUALLY TRY THIS! 3. Find Your Healthy Alternatives - Taking some time to discover what will satisfy your cravings in a healthy way will ensure you feel better and stay motivated on your fitness journey. I from time to time feel like something sweet after dinner (I thank my mum for this lol) but I know whole-heartedly that I won't feel good after eating it BUT instead of depriving myself of something I look for an alternative i.e - A protein shake!
